Hospice & End-of-Life Care

A Compassionate Approach to Critical Animal Rescue

At the Ayesha Chundrigar Foundation (ACF), we often rescue animals who have endured extreme trauma, neglect, or injury. Many of these animals are found in critical condition - but still show signs of life, spirit, and will.

When these animals are eating, drinking, responding to affection, and are not in unmanageable pain, we choose to give them a chance. We offer hospice care: a globally recognized, compassionate practice that provides warmth, safety, and dignity in the final days or weeks of life.

What Is Hospice Care?

Hospice care is not about prolonging suffering - it's about honoring life. We provide shelter, food, pain relief, and emotional comfort for animals who may not survive long-term but are still capable of experiencing peace and love.

If at any point their condition deteriorates or pain becomes unmanageable, we provide immediate and humane euthanasia under veterinary supervision.

Why It Matters - Especially in Pakistan

In Pakistan, many animals never experience a full meal, a gentle hand, or a safe place to rest. At ACF Pakistan, we believe that even a few days of comfort, kindness, and dignity can mean Everything.

Our hospice care is part of our mission to not only save lives - but to value them, no matter how short their time may be.

How We Ensure Ethics & Oversight

- Each case is evaluated by a trained veterinary team.

- Animals in hospice care are monitored for signs of pain, distress, or improvement.

- No animal is kept alive if they are suffering without relief.

- ACF USA supports ACF Pakistan's work and upholds international standards of animal care and ethical treatment.

Thank You for Understanding

We know these cases can be hard to see. But to us, these animals are not defined by their wounds - they are individuals, worthy of comfort, even in their final moments. Your support allows us to give them that chance.
