Shoa Jafri
PRESIDENT
As the President of ACF USA, Shoa Jafri brings diverse expertise from prestigious companies such Amazon, SpaceX, and L’Oréal.
Since 2012, Shoa has been actively involved in volunteering at local animal shelters, nurturing her profound love and care for animals. As an unwavering supporter of ACF, Shoa strives to create a more compassionate world, where animals are respected and cherished, ensuring a brighter future for them and the communities they touch.
Currently residing in Austin, Texas she shares her home with her husband and four legged furry children, Chip, Shadow and Dash.

Saira Khan
SECRETARY
Saira Khan is the Secretary of the Board of Directors for ACF Animal Rescue USA. After completing both her Bachelor of Arts degree as well as Juris Doctorate degree at the University of Texas at Austin, Saira began her career as an associate at White & Case, an international law firm headquartered in New York.
Following this, Saira held role of Deputy General Counsel for Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners private equity fund, and a member of the in-house legal team at The Blackstone Group, the world's largest alternative asset manager, both headquartered in New York.
Presently, Saira is Assistant General Counsel at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, a pension plan that invests on behalf of those working in the public education system in Texas.
In addition to her love of animals and work with ACF USA, she is committed to supporting initiatives, both at and outside of work, that focus on increasing diversity, encouraging intersectionality and community building, and promoting education and has previously been involved (including as a board member) with a number of organizations committed to these issues.She currently resides in Austin, Texas with her adorable dog Poe.

Samar Wajih Zaman
BOARD MEMBER
Born in Pakistan, bred between London and San Francisco, and now calling New York home for over a decade.Samar’s diverse experience cultivated her into a hybrid human - one who has stealth years working across marketing communications, creative production and brand development. Leading global comprehensive projects from start to finish: Samars forte is ideation execution and growing client relationships.
An avid animal lover; when not producing 360 campaigns and projects, Samar is passionate about animal rights and awareness. ACF has been pivotal in guiding these actions and allowing her to join hands in making a true difference for animals in Pakistan.

Sameen Zaidi
BOARD MEMBER
Dr Zaidi is a board certified ophthalmologist, currently a partner at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara California.
An outspoken advocate for animals since the time she learnt how to talk. She had been rescuing feral cats, nursing them to health , and adopting and caring for them in her home all throughout her childhood and young adult years.
Medical training took the majority of her adulthood , for about ten years. After rigorous medical training, now she wants to pursue meaningful animal rescue and rehabilitation. Introduced to ACF through social media about 8 years ago, she is so excited to be a part of this fantastic endeavor and devoted to its success.
She lives in Menlo Park, California with her husband, 3 human kids and 2 cat babies Bella and Haru.
